Managing Aggregated Services

Just as staffing may need to be augmented for some period to produce a quality software product, the same need can exist in operational areas. A Netsourcing Solutions Provider (NSP) hosts, operates and manages an aggregation of multi-enterprise services and applications in conjunction with existing IT operations over public and private networks in order to provide an end-to-end business process solution. CACS delivers its services through its Network Operations Center (NOC) and its Business Services Management (BSM) groups. While the NOC provides services to support IT operations personnel, the BSM group may augment the non-IT operations staff of an organization by performing business process-related duties.

CACS provides the highest quality in operational excellence. We ensure this by truly partnering with our customers via technology and in using best practices surrounding the operational aspects of supporting our solutions. This includes solution design, security management, application management, database management, change management, SLA management, incident management and disaster recovery.

Our business intelligence solutions lend themselves to the transfer of information between our customer service and application management systems, and our customers' systems. We give customers insight to all aspects of their Netsourced solution allowing flexible distribution of roles and responsibilities, as well as real-time collaboration, between the customers' IT organization, business units, CACS's NOC and the BSM group.

Netsourcing vs. Outsourcing

Netsourcing differs from outsourcing, in part, because we act as an addition to your existing staff, rather than trying to operate as a separate and self-contained entity. In addition, CACS doesn't believe that it can better manage the customer's legacy systems. It can successfully manage the BII Platform, its associated frameworks and tools, operational and analytical data stores, analytical applications and network infrastructure while the IT organization prepares to adequately support business intelligence solutions. Netsourcing, when coupled with a Center of Excellence initiative, provides organizations with the means to manage change in the immediate period and a path to control their own destiny going forward.

Netsourcing vs. ASP

Netsourcing differs from ASP services in the horizontal nature of the offering. ASP services treat applications as if they reside in silos. This merely duplicates the problems that IT organizations have in their data centers. Rather than selecting an application and saying "Come and get it", Netsourcing first looks at the business processes, organizations and components that comprise that solution. We then determine the best way to deliver the solution based on the requirements and capabilities of the customer and its partners.
